The passing away of my wife to cancer in November 2007 changed the logistics for the scheduled sail to the Med.  
Preparations, repairs and out-fitting Oceanis II could not be completed by the set departure date.
Once again, it became necessary to postpone and reschedule the sail to the Med.
The need to re-evaluate the sailing project was required.  I flew to Israel for a month long "fact finding" vacation. 

May 2008  La Paz BCS Mexico
During Myriam's illness we lived in our 34 ft motorhome in La Paz.  Due to the progression of her illness we had to fly back to Vancouver.  
The hurricane of September 2008 destroyed our motorhome and car left in storage.
Dealing with the Mexican insurance company proves to be a test of frustrations and patience.
